Julien Gervreau joins Data Instincts, bringing Social Media expertise to Team

(WINDSOR, CA) February 2, 2011 — Julien Gervreau has joined the team of Data Instincts, a Windsor-based public outreach firm specializing in water issues. Julien has more than 10 years of experience in the development and implementation of branding and outreach strategies using both traditional and social media platforms.

Julien will allow the Data Instincts team to offer its clients a broader menu of communications tools, including the development of outreach strategies that utilize the ever-growing field of social media, such as Twitter and Facebook.

Data Instincts principal Mark Millan said the addition of Julien will benefit the firm and its clients. “We’re excited to have Julien join us and look forward to expanding the list of services we provide our clients,” he said. “His experience and background complement the talents of our team and will strengthen our ability to serve our clients using the latest social media tools available.”

Julien’s background includes extensive public relations and marketing experience in the wine and food industry. His interest in water issues stems from a trip to Nicaragua in 2009 where he volunteered for seven months delivering and building point–of-use water filters to rural communities. He holds a double major in anthropology and history form Connecticut College and is currently pursuing an MBA in Sustainable Management at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, California.
